Contract Type: Freelance (Part-time ? 3 days per week, with potential to increase)

About the Role



We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Studio & Procurement Assistant (Freelance) to join our interior design studio based in Esher, Surrey. This hybrid role is ideal for someone with at least two years of industry experience who is looking to grow within a dynamic and creative studio environment. You will support a small design and operations teams, playing a vital role in the smooth execution of projects from concept to installation. The role offers hands-on experience across a diverse portfolio of high-end residential and commercial projects, giving you the opportunity to deepen your procurement knowledge while being closely involved in the creative process.

Key Responsibilities



Procurement & FF&E;

- Support the end-to-end procurement process for FF&E; and interior goods

- Source products and materials in line with the design brief and budget

- Liaise with suppliers and request quotes

- Raise and track purchase orders

- Coordinate delivery timelines and follow up on outstanding items

- Assist in managing supplier relationships and maintaining contact records

- Log and manage invoices, delivery notes, and returns

Design Team Support



- Assist with sample ordering, returns, and library management

- Help compile and update FF&E; schedules, mood boards, and specification documents

- Organise product information for client presentations and internal reference

- Maintain and update studio databases and material resources

Studio Administration



- Assist with studio coordination, including logistics, deliveries, and installations

- Maintain procurement trackers and documentation across multiple projects

- Support the wider team with ad-hoc administrative and organisational tasks

Requirements



- Minimum 2 years' experience in an interior design studio or procurement support role

- Good understanding of FF&E; procurement processes

- Highly organised with strong attention to detail

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite

- Familiarity with interior design software/tools such as EstiPC, Studio Designer, or similar is a bonus

- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines

- A passion for interiors and a keen eye for design
