Be the First Line of Tech Support
As a Junior IT Support Analyst, you'll be the go-to person for resolving user issues, building and configuring devices, and ensuring our IT systems run efficiently. You'll work closely with the wider IT team to deliver high-quality support across the Clarke Group, while gaining hands-on experience with hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
This role offers a unique blend of technical challenge, user interaction, and international exposure-perfect for someone eager to grow in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Be Responsible For
In this user-facing role, you will:

• Provide responsive support to users via phone, email, and in person
• Diagnose and resolve desktop and laptop issues, including off-site repairs
• Build, configure, and test workstations, laptops, and mobile devices
• Support remote users with mobile connectivity and VPN access
• Manage new starter setups and leaver procedures
• Ensure backups of laptops, desktops, and personal folders are maintained
• Maintain and deploy Group Standard Operating Environments using Windows Deployment Server
• Assist with LAN, WAN, and VPN connectivity troubleshooting
• Update and maintain the IT asset register
• Document IT processes and user guides clearly and accurately
• Administer and repair mobile communication devices
• Support IT equipment purchasing during staff holidays
• Uphold Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards in all work
• Keep workspaces clean, organised, and secure

What You'll Bring to the Team
Essential Requirements:

• Degree in IT or a closely related subject
• Minimum 2 years' experience on an IT Helpdesk with strong customer service focus
• Understanding of PC builds, rebuilds, and configuration
• Familiarity with Microsoft products and PC hardware setup
• Strong communication skills-clear, helpful, and user-friendly
• Ability to stay calm and effective under pressure
• Logical problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent attention to detail and time management
• Willingness to take initiative and responsibility
• Flexible, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement

Desirable Experience:

• Microsoft certification (e.g., MTA, MCP, or equivalent)

Clarke Energy's IT team provide 24x7x365 support to the business across 27 countries, ensuring our internal clients receive a first-class service. The IT team designs, implements and maintains a wide-area network, centrally managed from the UK, safeguarding our network with the latest technologies; including firewalls, routers, and remote access appliances. Our proven philosophy of providing local internet connections at each site, offers flexibility in the event of a disaster, allowing the migration of services to alternate locations, taking advantage of our off-site backups. Key group-wide services such as e-mail, is provided and managed from the UK Head Office, with all incoming and outgoing messages passing through a central anti-virus and anti-spam filter.
