The Location
Chorus Intelligence's head office is in Woodbridge, Suffolk, IP12 with a hub in Cambridge. This role is to be based in the Woodbridge Office Monday to Thursday and Work from Home on Friday's.
Role Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for two Graduate Developers to join our team on a 3-month fixed-term contract with a possibility for an extension. This role is a great chance to apply your academic knowledge in a professional setting, contribute to the delivery of a market-ready product, and gain hands-on experience working on real-world projects. You'll be supported by an experienced and collaborative team, giving you the opportunity to grow your technical skills, learn best practices, and take your first steps in a rewarding career in software development.
Responsibilities
Principal accountabilities and responsibilities will include:
Implementing software solutions with Java and Vue
Learn to build end-to-end features, fix bugs and improve infrastructure
Working on small projects to start with - progressing to bigger ones as your skills improve
Contribute to the implementation, and development of requirements
Participate in design reviews working within an agile methodology
Able to identify and size user-stories
Experience
Core Java design and development skills
Agile development lifecycle experience e.g., Analysis, Design, Unit Testing, and Release of Code
Passionate about technology
Educated to a degree level in Computer Science or a related subject
