We are looking for a smart, driven and organised

Junior Joinery Designer and Production Coordinator

to support our joinery division. This role blends design, operations and client coordination. Ideal for someone who understands technical drawings, enjoys client interactions and wants to learn the full production and installation process.

The Role

You will work across design, production and operations to ensure every project runs smoothly from concept to completion. Responsibilities include:

Design and Technical Work

Assist clients with kitchen, wardrobe and joinery designs. Translate designs into accurate production drawings for the factory. Prepare cut lists, specifications and hardware schedules.

Production and Procurement

Place orders for materials, appliances and components. Communicate with suppliers to confirm lead times and delivery dates. Coordinate with the factory on fabrication stages and quality checks.

Operations and Installation

Create installation packs for fitting teams. Align installation dates with clients and internal teams. Provide updates to clients throughout the process. Resolve issues on site with support from operations and management.

Client Communication

Support clients with selections, approvals and design queries. Maintain a professional and reassuring tone at all times. Ensure the handover is smooth and the final product meets expectations.

About You

Experience or training in interior design, joinery design or a related field. Understanding of joinery construction, cabinetry detailing and common materials. Confident using AutoCAD or similar drawing software. Strong organisational and multitasking abilities. Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written. Comfortable speaking with clients, installers and suppliers. Problem solver with attention to detail and willingness to learn.
