Role description:





We are looking for a Junior Land Referencer to join our Leeds team. Land referencing is the process of identifying persons that hold legal interests and rights over land, critical to developments and infrastructure projects due to the need to engage with potentially affected persons and produce landowner schedules and plans for planning applications. Junior Land Referencers are also responsible for gaining access to land for surveys and ground investigations. In Engineering, you'll create some of the world's most iconic and ground-breaking structures and spaces that transform the world around us, from making journeys easier to opening public places that bring people together. We partner with clients globally to design thriving, connected cities and communities that enable opportunity for all and keep the world moving. Climate change, urbanization and digitization trends require today's mobility projects and systems to address evolving demands. We design connected, sustainable solutions that integrate existing infrastructure with new technologies and optimize the mobility of people and goods.


Role accountabilities:




Follow established land referencing methodologies and processes. Process and enter Land Registry information accurately. Review and extract information from land registry/legal documentation. Maintain meticulous records using CRM software. Prepare and send Land Interest Questionnaires (LIQs), statutory notices, and consultation letters. Engage professionally with members of the public for fact-finding and queries. Conduct site visits to confirm land features and usage. Provide timely land information to clients. Support access to land for surveys and ground investigations.

Qualifications & Experience:
