Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Marketing Assistant to join our small friendly team on a freelance basis, starting at 3 to 5 hours per week, with the opportunity to grow to 15 to 20 . You'll be supporting a Micro and Small Business Consultant in delivering marketing services for both the consultancy and selected clients. Tasks will focus on social media and targeted email marketing campaigns, with clear guidance and support provided every step of the way.

Responsibilities

Scheduling and publishing content across social media platforms Assisting with content creation and copywriting Supporting email marketing campaigns (design, scheduling, reporting) Monitoring engagement and helping improve campaign performance Participating in strategy sessions and applying learning in real-time Maintain organised records of marketing activities and reports using Microsoft Excel.

Qualifications

Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) is essential. Some familiarity with social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook) and email tools (e.g., Mailchimp or similar) is a plus, but not required Studying towards a marketing qualification would be a plus but not essential Prior experience in social media management or copywriting would be beneficial but not essential.
