Phoenix is a leading innovator in the marine equipment industry, specialising in high-performance mechanical lifts for yachts and precision hydraulic actuators.

We are seeking a Junior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team and grow their skills alongside experienced engineers in a supportive and dynamic environment.

As a Junior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will work closely with our Senior Engineer and Design Manager to assist in the design, development, and documentation of mechanical and hydraulic systems. You will take on smaller design tasks and projects, helping to bring innovative solutions to life while gaining valuable industry experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the design and development of mechanical lift systems and hydraulic actuators.

Create and modify 3D CAD models and technical drawings (SolidWorks preferred).

Assist in preparing documentation, parts lists, and assembly instructions.

Participate in design reviews and problem-solving discussions.

Learn best practices in marine-grade mechanical design and manufacturing.

Key Requirements:

Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering Basic understanding of mechanical design principles and 3D CAD software. Willingness to learn and take direction from senior engineers. Effective communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude. Enthusiasm for mechanical engineering and hands-on problem-solving.
