Our purpose-built manufacturing site includes several automated and robotic production lines which allows us to manufacture and supply chocolate products for some of the UK's biggest retailers, as well as clients worldwide.
Are you passionate about building customer relationships and driving commercial growth? If so, we are recruiting for a Junior National Account Manager to support our expanding footprint across Retailer and Discounter channels.
In this key role you will manage discounter accounts and work alongside the Commercial Manager to support major retailer relationships. It is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative, fast paced commercial team that drives the growth and success of a much-loved brand.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management: Take ownership of a portfolio of accounts, building strong relationships, meeting commercial targets and identifying growth opportunities.
Account Support: Partnering with the Commercial Manager to support strategic planning and execution for key accounts.
Product Launch Co-ordination: Lead and support the execution of product launches across Retailer and Discounter channels, ensuring seamless cross-functional collaboration.
Commercial Planning and Analysis: Assist in developing customer plans aligned with business objectives and monitoring financial performance.
Cross-Functional Liaison: Act as a key link between sales, supply chain and finance teams to ensure alignment on customer needs and timelines.
Administrative and Project Support: Manage account administration, meeting agendas, project trackers and customer facing documents.
Customer Presentation Preparation: Develop accurate and engaging presentations and business reviews tailored to customer needs and strategy.
Project Management: Track and maintain project timelines and proactively follow-up to keep stakeholders aligned and on schedule.
The ideal candidate will possess:
Experience in a commercial, sales support, or national account role, ideally within FMCG retail, or discounter channels.
A strong grasp of customer relationship management, with a focus on delivering value to both the customer and the business.
An understanding of pricing, promotions and P&L impact, with the ability to support planning and forecasting activities.
Project co-ordination skills and be comfortable with managing multiple timelines and actions across stakeholders and departments.
Confidence when working with data to identify trends and support strategic decisions.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to confidently engage with internal teams and external customers.
Strong organization skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks while ensuring high quality outputs, especially in documentation and presentations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

34,000 to 38,000 per annum (dependent upon experience) + Bonus
