We are seeking a proactive and organised Junior Office Administrator with additional responsibility for warehouse management. In this varied role, you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day office administrative tasks while also assisting with stock control and supplies management in the workshop area. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, efficient and comfortable managing both administrative and warehouse related duties in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Office Administration:
General Administrative Support:
Provide day-to-day administrative assistance to the office team, managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, and handling phone calls.
Document Management:
Maintain accurate records and documentation, both physical and digital, ensuring they are organised and easily accessible.
Data Entry & Reports:
Assist with entering data into internal systems, updating records, and generating reports as required by the team or management.
Customer Service:
Respond to general inquiries and assist with customer communications, ensuring a professional and helpful approach.
Mail Handling:
Manage incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries and parcels for the office.
Stores Responsibilities:
Stock Management:
Oversee the inventory of office supplies, materials, and any products stored in the facility. Monitor stock levels, place orders, and track deliveries.
Goods Receipt & Inspection:
Ensure all incoming goods are checked against delivery notes, inspecting for accuracy and condition.
Stock Organisation:
Keep the storage area organised, ensuring proper storage of items, and maintain a tidy and safe working environment.
Inventory Audits:
Assist with regular stock counts and inventories to ensure stock accuracy and minimise discrepancies.
Supplier Liaison:
Communicate with suppliers to place orders, track deliveries, and resolve any issues related to supplies.
Requirements:
Experience:
Previous experience in office administration or warehouse management is desirable, though not essential. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
Organisational Skills:
Ability to multitask and prioritise a range of duties effectively.
Attention to Detail:
Strong attention to detail for both administrative tasks and managing inventory.
IT Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with basic office software or inventory management systems.
Communication Skills:
Good verbal and written communication skills for liaising with team members, suppliers, and customers.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to carry out light manual tasks such as lifting and organising stock.
