We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented

Junior Operations Analyst

to join our team at Birmingham Airport.

In this exciting role, you'll support the analysis of operational performance data, helping to forecast, plan, and identify opportunities for improvement across airport functions.

From building capacity models to evaluating the impact of new processes and technologies, this role offers a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals to build a career in data analytics within the dynamic aviation industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and maintain detailed airport capacity models and simulations. Process, manage, and visualise data using tools such as SQL and Power BI (training provided). Undertake capacity assessments to support operational and capital planning. Support planning for weekly operations and special events through data insights. Model short- and medium-term scenarios to understand capacity constraints. Provide ad-hoc analytical support to various departments across the airport.

Experience Required:

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable using Power BI. Eager to learn new analytical tools and systems. Strong numerical and problem-solving skills. Capable of organising and prioritising multiple tasks effectively. Experience working independently and within small teams. Practical experience with data analysis through university, internships, or part-time work.

Pay: 31,000.00-36,000.00 per year
