We help our clients to analyse and understand their markets and to formulate strategies based on sound economics. The Competition Practice at Frontier
The Competition Practice is a leading team of economists spread across all offices who help high-profile clients with competition policy matters. Our work includes merger cases, market investigations, issues related to abuse of dominance, agreements between firms, and support in cases before competition authorities and courts across Europe.
The Practice operates as one integrated team and is supported by an embedded Practice Management Team (PMT), which works closely with economists and includes experienced EAs and PAs and the Business Development Coordinator. The PMT plays a central role in supporting the smooth planning, coordination, and delivery of work across offices.

The Junior PA will support the planning and delivery of work across London and other European offices by working closely with colleagues across the Competition Practice. The role involves taking ownership of straightforward administrative tasks, supporting EAs and PAs with delegated work, and contributing to the effective coordination of projects and activities. The Junior PA will be proactive, keen to learn, and provide high-quality administrative support in line with Frontier values.
Over time, you'll take ownership of a range of responsibilities, including:
Planning and OrganisationDiary management for internal meetings, including room booking (with scope to expand to external meetings as the successful applicant grows into the role) Travel management, including national and international travel Supporting the planning and organisation of project socials, client socials, and client events Entering and maintaining accurate expense data in company systems Using Frontier systems to log and maintain project and client information Taking clear and concise notes during meetings and distributing summaries Ad hoc administrative support, including printing, binding, and document preparation

Impact and DeliveryUsing initiative and knowledge from PAs and EAs to understand how to improve processes, suggesting new ideas and having support to drive them forwards Completing tasks to satisfactory level and to meet deadlines Using internal resources to build up knowledge of the firm

Communication and Partnership WorkingLiaising with PAs and EAs and taking on delegated tasks, as and when required Working with Practice Manager and Mentor to understand feedback and how to get further support

Development and EngagementAttending training set up by Learning and Development as well as cross-team learning to improve knowledge around role Building and maintaining relationships with relevant and various people across the business

You don't need to know everything on day one. You do need curiosity, reliability and a willingness to get stuck in.
You're likely to thrive if you:Have some experience in an administrative or support role Are organised, detail-focused and comfortable juggling different tasks Enjoy working as part of a team and building relationships Communicate clearly and confidently, both written and verbally Have a basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365

Nice to have (but not essential):French, German or Spanish language skills More advanced Office 365 experience
