Stratton Motor Company is looking to employ a Junior Parts Advisor at our site in Long Stratton. This is an exciting opportunity to join a prestigious car dealership and work alongside experienced technicians to help and support and your career development. We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable individual with a self-motivating attitude, with an eye for detail and able to work as part of a team within a busy, fast-moving environment.

Duties and responsibilities:

Learning all aspects of parts, both Workshop and Bodyshop. Running parts to the Workshop. Assist in managing stock levels to ensure the right parts are always available when needed. Process invoices, and payments using the company's system. Help management with warranties, returns, and core part exchanges. Maintain accurate records of part transactions, deliveries and inventory updates. Organise and prepare parts for delivery or collection, ensuring they are packaged and labelled correctly. Provide any essential administrative support. Any ad hoc duties on request. Support with managing deliveries from suppliers and ensuring parts are received in good condition. Assist in conducting regular stock audits to ensure stock accuracy and availability. Supply technicians with necessary parts to complete vehicle repairs in a timely manner.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Eye for detail Some knowledge of vehicle mechanics Enthusiasm for motor industry and willingness to continuously develop product knowledge. Ability to multi-task. Hold a Full UK Driving Licence - Any job offer that requires driving company vehicles is subject to a DVLA check, and applicants with six or more penalty points or a previous disqualification may not meet our insurance requirements and therefore may not be eligible for employment.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Hours of Work: 08:00 - 17:30 Monday to Friday, with Saturday AM on rota once training complete

Pay: Starting at 28,730.00 per year
