Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Junior Software Developer with a solid foundation in web development, eager to grow their skills and work with modern technologies in a fast-paced environment.

This role is ideal for someone who understands the fundamentals of PHP, SQL, CSS, APIs, and JavaScript frameworks, and who wants hands-on experience working with a modern tech stack while being supported and trained by an experienced development team.

You will be joining an established business while working within a new product division, helping to build and evolve platforms such as e-commerce supplier systems, B2B integrations, and financial software solutions.

What You'll Be Working With

You will receive training and ongoing support to work confidently with:

PHP (Slim Framework) for backend development Vue.js for frontend development SQL databases for data storage and querying RESTful APIs and third-party integrations Elasticsearch for search and data indexing
Key Responsibilities

Assist in developing and maintaining web applications using PHP and Vue.js Work with APIs to integrate internal and external systems Write and maintain SQL queries and database structures Support the development of scalable, secure backend services Collaborate with senior developers on new features and system improvements Participate in testing, debugging, and code reviews Learn and follow established coding standards and best practices
What We're Looking For

A good foundational understanding of PHP, SQL, CSS, and JavaScript Exposure to or interest in modern JS frameworks (Vue.js experience is a plus) Basic understanding of APIs and web services Willingness to learn new frameworks and technologies Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work well in a fast-moving, collaborative environment Passion for building reliable, high-quality software
