Junior Product Engineer




Location: Remote with requirement to travel 4-weekly to Birmingham for team meetings.


Hours: Full-time 9-5 Mon-Fri


Salary: 25-30k DoE.

We are evolving our in-house care management solution, RightCareHQ (RCHQ). RCHQ is built on a Cloud based Platform, with a view to imminently expand further using Next.js and LLM models to support AI-first processes.

The role



Reporting to the Technical Lead, you'll be working in a small, fast-paced team. Day-to-day, you will: Investigate and resolve complex customer issues by tracing root causes through data, process, and system logic. Take ownership across the software lifecycle, especially in the planning and design phases, with support from the team to accommodate your learning and development. Learn and navigate our MariaDB database to facilitate problem-solving, planning, and designing new roadmap features. Write acceptance criteria in Azure DevOps and design user interfaces in Figma. Support with the definition, specification, and validation of new features end-to-end. Challenge assumptions and propose novel solutions to complex problems. Use AI to improve the quality and efficiency of your outputs.

Skills and qualifications



Knowledge of OOP Knowledge of relational databases Strong technical acumen Computer related degree not essential but should have evidence of practice Experience in AzureDevOps, Figma, Python, Typescript, Git, MariaDB a bonus
