Junior Project Manager

South East London, ENG, GB, United Kingdom

Job Description

We're Hiring: Junior Project Manager

Make the extraordinary, everlasting -- with us.

At Event Concept, we craft extraordinary experiences that leave a lasting impression -- not just for our clients, but for our people too. We blend the big ideas of a creative agency with the meticulous execution of a production company, bringing bold, imaginative events to life.

We're collaborative, down-to-earth, and serious about delivering quality -- all while finding time for lightness and fun. If you're someone who's curious, adaptable and excited to do meaningful work with a team that's got your back, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

We're looking for a Junior Project Manager to join our Client Services team. In this role you'll support our Production, Client Services, and Creative teams with everything from amending floor plans to procuring supplies for events. This is an entry-level role where you'll have the opportunity to learn from our brilliant project managers, producers, creatives, and client services experts, helping to bring extraordinary events to life.

You'll Thrive Here If You...

Have a passion for event production and design, with a desire to grow and develop your understanding of how events are delivered. Are a people person who knows that great events come from great collaboration. Have an enthusiastic, can-do attitude -- ready to jump in, learn, and contribute. Are excited by sustainability and keen to contribute to our 2030 Pledge. Can work quickly and calmly under pressure, spinning multiple plates without breaking a sweat. Are a motivated self-starter -- we'll teach and support you, but you'll need to be proactive in looking for ways to contribute. Ideally have some experience or familiarity with AutoCAD, Sketchup, Vectorworks, or the Adobe Creative Suite. Understand that events can be unpredictable -- flexibility, adaptability, and a readiness to stay until the job's done are essential.

You don't have to tick every box -- we care just as much about curiosity, adaptability, and a growth mindset as we do experience on paper.

What You'll Be Doing

Supporting client requirements by working closely with wider teams to find ways to add value. Learning from our Client Services team on how to manage client relationships and build lasting partnerships. Supporting teams to deliver events on time and within budget. Learning across the business -- including Client Services, Production, and Creative. Assisting on projects to meet specific schedules and budgets. Helping produce initial creative concepts as part of a team on larger projects. Managing external suppliers. Preparing mood boards, floor plans, production schedules, and visuals. Producing accurate floor plans in Vectorworks and maintaining correct filing. Providing onsite support -- from liaising with clients to distributing candles! Utilising our CRM to support sales and production tracking. Attending pipeline meetings and taking an active interest in our commercial targets. Creating accurate schedules and working with our Event Operations, Logistics, and Crewing teams. Applying sustainable thinking at every step, aligned with our #DoMoreWithLess value. Shadowing Project Managers in pitching meetings. Generating accurate RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) and ensuring timely distribution. Assisting in project reconciliation, ensuring costs are tracked and communicated properly.

Process & Governance:

Staying up to date on Health & Safety training and flagging concerns when they arise. Following up with client's post-event and encouraging completion of satisfaction surveys. Supporting the closure of any post-event feedback issues (our NCR - non-conformities process) to help us continuously improve.
