Due to expansion, our client -- a market-leading Estate Agent based in North Leeds -- is looking to recruit a
Property Manager
to join their growing team. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity to develop your career.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain long-term relationships with landlords and tenants via phone and face-to-face interactions
Manage property repair issues promptly, proactively, and efficiently
Obtain quotes and estimates from contractors when required
Liaise effectively with tenants, contractors, and landlords to ensure timely completion of repairs
Keep landlords and tenants regularly updated on relevant matters
Facilitate clear communication between landlords and tenants to foster positive relationships
Conduct interim property inspections, report issues, and handle repairs or tenancy breaches promptly
Ensure landlords are fully informed at all times
Arrange annual renewals of gas and electric safety certificates in line with legal requirements
Maintain accurate property files and up-to-date computer records
Ensure all documentation (inventories, renewals, etc.) is filed promptly and correctly
Respond promptly to landlord requests including rent reviews, renewals, and vacation procedures, providing guidance on relevant legislation
Handle basic account enquiries from landlords and tenants
Generate sales leads for residential offices
Promote insurance products such as Rent Guarantee and Tenant/Landlord Insurance
Regularly monitor and respond to incoming email enquiries
Follow key checking in and out procedures diligently
Organise and prioritise your workload efficiently
Liaise with the customer service team to ensure tenant requests are addressed promptly
Key Skills & Requirements:
Strong administrative background with excellent organisational skills
Ability to manage workload efficiently and logically
Compliance with ARLA best practice and company procedures
Good IT literacy, with proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel
Effective problem-solving skills with a proactive and initiative-driven approach
Professional, smart appearance adhering to company dress code
Enthusiastic, energetic, and motivated attitude towards work
Full UK driving licence essential
