Job Description


We are looking for a Junior Software Developer to join our Growth and Analytics team, playing a critical role in the implementation of new projects in the ever-changing Publishing industry and the competitive UK market. The successful candidate will have the chance to enhance their coding skills while gaining insights into technology, marketing, and strategy in an innovative and dynamic environment alongside major players like Amazon, Google, and Apple.

Core Responsibilities
Work alongside analysts to maintain projects and develop new ones
Monitor systems and promptly resolve any issues
Review and improve stability of existing and future projects
Identify new opportunities and areas of growth based on new technology and business needs
Produce production level code with appropriate testing, redundancies and error handling
Utilise the latest technologies in the AI/ML space to build cutting edge tools
Person Specification
Experience
0-1 Years python experience
Some web framework experience - Flask, FastAPI, Django, etc
Data manipulation with Pandas / numpy
Basic SQL knowledge
Skills
Organised and thoughtful approach to your projects
Able to manage your own time effectively to meet deadlines
Good coding skills and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Confidence to take ownership of your projects
Must be comfortable on MacOS and Linux (Ubuntu VMs)
Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively and clearly with internal teams
Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work through issues independently.
