Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Quantity Surveyor to assist in managing the financial aspects of our commercial interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in quantity surveying principles and practices, with a particular focus on the commercial interior fit-out sector.

Key Responsibilities
Sub-contractor Management:
+ Assist in the selection and appointment of sub-contractors
+ Review and analyse sub-contractor quotes and tenders
+ Prepare and issue sub-contract documentation
+ Monitor sub-contractor performance and progress
+ Assist in resolving sub-contractor disputes and issues Change Management and Variation Orders:
+ Identify and assess potential changes to project scope
+ Prepare and submit variation orders
+ Negotiate and agree on variation costs with clients and sub-contractors
+ Maintain accurate records of all project changes and their financial implications
+ Assist in the preparation of claims and dispute resolution documentation Cost Reporting and Financial Management:
+ Prepare and submit regular cost reports to project managers and senior management
+ Process and validate payment applications from sub-contractors
+ Review and process invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contract terms
+ Assist in the preparation of cash flow forecasts
+ Monitor project budgets and highlight any potential cost overruns Quantity Surveying Tasks:
+ Produce detailed schedules of works and bills of quantities
+ Perform accurate take-offs from drawings and specifications
+ Conduct on-site measurements and quantity verification
+ Prepare order enquiries for materials and services
+ Assist in estimating project costs and preparing tender submissions Project Support:
+ Attend project meetings and site visits as required
+ Liaise with clients, architects, and other project stakeholders
+ Assist in the preparation of project reports and presentations
+ Contribute to the continuous improvement of quantity surveying processes and procedures
+ Support senior quantity surveyors and project managers in various tasks

Required Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
1-3 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in the commercial interior fit-out sector
Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, Buildsoft, or similar)
