Description Our client is renowned in the area of advanced heat pump design, encompassing refrigeration and controls. Pioneering the forefront of heat pump innovation and installation within the United Kingdom, they have recently erected a cutting-edge environmental testing facility dedicated to heat pumps at their South Wales production site. This facility serves as a pivotal hub for advancing innovation and product development, solidifying their position as an industry leader.
Committed to excellence, they specialise in the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of heating systems, always with an unwavering focus on customer satisfaction, system longevity, and optimal performance. As part of their growth initiative in manufacturing heat pumps, we are seeking a Junior Refrigeration Engineer to contribute to the establishment of production and assembly operations at one of clients\' facilities.

Role Overview:
This exceptional opportunity offers hands-on experience in the following areas:
Assisting with heat pump assembly, including support for installation, operation, maintenance, and commissioning of heat pump systems on-site.
Collaborating with experienced teams to develop and refine manufacturing processes.
Ensuring meticulous maintenance of quality control records.
No prior experience is necessary, as on-the-job training will be provided to impart the following skills:

• Fundamental principles of refrigeration systems.
• Heat pump assembly, installation, and maintenance procedures.
• Identification and resolution of common issues.
• Safe and proficient use of tools and equipment.
• Interpretation of technical drawings, diagrams, procedures, and manuals.

Essential requirements:

• Minimum 5 GCSEs (A-C) or equivalent, including strong performance in mathematics and science.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills, complemented by the ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Effective organisational skills with a talent for managing diverse tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Adaptability to high-pressure environments and a proactive approach to change and innovation.
• Commitment to ongoing personal development and a positive, solution-oriented attitude.
• Resourcefulness, lateral thinking, and the ability to devise creative solutions.
• Must possess a valid UK driving license, access to a vehicle for work, and a willingness to travel as needed.

We are seeking individuals who are enthusiastic about acquiring a foundational understanding of refrigeration and heat pump systems or someone who has some experience as a plumber and entry level technical knowledge.
