Job Title: Graduate/Junior Design Engineer

Company: Confidential (Thermal Management Solutions Company)

Location: Cambridgeshire, PE28

Dawson Levy are currently representing a leading company specialising in thermal management solutions who are looking to add a new Junior Design Engineer to their team.

This permanent role presents a remarkable chance to collaborate with a seasoned mentor, acquire valuable design experience, and actively contribute to the company\'s continuous technical advancements.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Design Manager to support various design activities, including creating designs, assisting with design documentation, and preparing assembly instructions for prototypes.
• Participate in site surveys, accompanying the Design Manager to mission critical sites, and utilizing measurements to develop effective design solutions.
• Utilize Solidworks software for all 3D design work.

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
• Hard-working and dedicated mindset.

Desired Competencies:

• Proficiency in Solidworks software.
• Understanding of mechanical principles, such as stress and strain.
• Experience working with sheet-metal (BONUS)
