The Relationship Manager is the primary point of contact between the client and the Bank. He/she acts externally as an ambassador for the Bank and is internally a role model. The individual is responsible for the proactive and autonomous acquisition of new client relationships through his/her network and management of a portfolio of High Net Worth private clients. This entails the promotion of comprehensive wealth management solutions to meet the clients' needs as well as dealing with routine enquiries and transactions. Professionalism and responsiveness are key. He/she is also responsible to deliver clients' feedback regarding products and services to the relevant specialists within the Bank to ensure continuous improvement and adaptation in line with market trends.

YOUR CHALLENGE

Proactively acquiring and developing relationships with High Net Worth Individuals (HNWIs) and Ultra High Net Worth Individuals (UHNWIs) from primarily the Guernsey market Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to drive growth and increase revenue Building and maintaining a strong network of relationships with potential and existing clients, and other stakeholders to generate referrals and introductions Developing and executing a strategic business plan to achieve individual and team targets, including setting goals, tracking progress, and adjusting strategies as needed Creating and delivering targeted pitches and presentations to prospective clients, highlighting the Bank's unique value proposition and services Collaborating with internal teams, such as Investment Management, Advisory Solutions, and Product Specialists, to develop and promote innovative solutions and services that meet the evolving needs of HNWIs and UHNWIs Staying up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation Introducing the Bank's products and services to prospective clients, providing tailored-made investment solutions and cross-selling relevant offerings Contributing to the development and implementation of new marketing strategies, initiatives and events to support business growth and brand awareness Mentoring and supporting junior team members to develop their business development skills and contribute to the team's growth objectives Ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements and industry standards, maintaining the highest level of professionalism and integrity in all interactions with clients and stakeholders.

Professional and Technical



Obtained or studying towards the Investment Advice Diploma, Level 4 or equivalent within agreed timescale Minimum of 5 years relevant experience Relevant higher educational and professional background e.g. FH, HWV, University or Bank apprenticeship combined with an appropriate professional qualification Experience in business development and sales Proven track record in the acquisition of new relationships Sound affinity with the geographic market(s) to be covered: + Linguistic proficiency & cultural awareness
+ Familiar with the legal & regulatory environment
Sound knowledge of global financial markets and current affairs Ability to match client needs with appropriate product solutions Sound commercial judgement, always representing the Bank and the shareholders' interests Willingness and flexibility to extend their networking efforts outside of typical office hours.
