Junior SCADA Developer

About the Role

BIJC Ltd are looking for an entry level person with some knowledge of Python, SQL and CSS to join the team in Manston. This position is well suited to an individual just starting out on their career, looking for experience in Industrial applications development.

This job will involve development of customer led projects using Inductive Automation's Ignition SCADA platform. These projects can involve anything from full control and visualisation systems for business-critical systems, to smaller database driven projects. A knowledge of basic principles used in MES and OEE in manufacturing would be advantageous. The Ignition platform will allow the successful applicant to further their knowledge of Python, SQL and CSS as well as utilising Java and industrial communication protocols.

Other duties include but are not limited to, administration, documentation and general junior office duties.

You will be expected to be/have:

Proficient with Microsoft Office Excellent problem-solving skills Clear and concise communicative skills Some knowledge of Python, SQL, HTML and CSS
Following one year in the position, individuals with strong performance and aptitude may be considered for roles with higher earning potential.
