About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Security Analyst to join our growing Information Security team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their cybersecurity career, playing a vital role in protecting the integrity and resilience of our Group-wide security operations

What you will be doing in this role

Own and Manage Security Alerts: Take end-to-end ownership of raised security alerts and requests, managing issues across multiple levels of criticality and ensuring timely resolution. Monitor and Analyse Security Infrastructure: Support the monitoring, analysis, and ongoing maintenance of the Group's security infrastructure to help identify and respond to potential threats in real-time. Drive Security Improvements: Contribute to the continuous improvement of security practices by identifying gaps, making recommendations, and drafting proposals to strengthen standards across the organisation. Be the Go-To Contact: Act as the primary point of contact for all security monitoring and log-related enquiries when required, ensuring clear and professional communication with both internal and external stakeholders. Implement Security Measures: Proactively address vulnerabilities by implementing protective measures or collaborating with local support teams to mitigate risks and safeguard against identified threats.

What you will bring to the role

A keen interest in cybersecurity, with some prior experience or strong educational foundation in information security or related fields. Ability to analyse complex information and detect patterns or anomalies in data and system behaviour. Strong communication and documentation skills, with the confidence to propose improvements to technical and procedural practices. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
