Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior SEO Specialist to join our dynamic digital marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for search engine optimisation and a desire to learn and grow within the field. This role involves assisting in the development and execution of SEO strategies to improve website visibility and drive organic traffic. You will work closely with senior team members to optimise content, analyse performance metrics, and implement best practices across various platforms.

Duties

Conduct keyword research to identify opportunities for content optimisation Assist in the creation and optimisation of website content, including metadata, headings, and alt text Monitor and report on website performance using tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console Collaborate with the content team to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all content management systems Help manage social media accounts to enhance online presence and engagement Support the implementation of technical SEO improvements, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript adjustments Utilise Google Tag Manager for tracking conversions and user behaviour Stay updated on industry trends and algorithm changes to adapt strategies accordingly

Qualifications

Basic understanding of SEO principles and best practices Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), particularly WordPress Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and their relevance to SEO Experience using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Tag Manager Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated A keen interest in digital marketing trends and social media management
