AG Wilson is a well-established civil engineering contractor based in Portadown, Northern Ireland, with over 45 years of industry experience. We specialise in delivering complex civil engineering solutions in the water and wastewater sector across the UK and Ireland.

We are now seeking a self-motivated and driven Junior Site Engineer to join our expanding team.

About the Role

:

As a Junior Site Engineer, you will work closely with a Senior Project Engineer and the wider site management team to support the successful delivery of civil engineering projects - with a focus on water and wastewater infrastructure projects. This is a hands-on, site-based role that offers significant career development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

(include but not limited to):

Assist with site setting out, surveying and level control Support the delivery of construction works in accordance with programme timelines Liaise with project managers, subcontractors and clients to ensure project objectives are met Assist with site documentation using the company's digital systems and apps Promote and maintain HSEQ standards across the site Monitor and report on site progress and performance

What We Expect From You

:

A degree or higher-level qualification in Civil Engineering or related discipline Strong written and verbal communication skills Willingness to learn and develop under the guidance of senior team members Ability to work effectively as part of a team and on your own initiative IT literacy and ability to use company digital apps for site documentation Working knowledge of construction-related software i.e AutoCAD, Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite Previous site experience gained through placement or graduate employment Familiarity with GPS and total station equipment Understanding of site documentation processes and CDM regulations Full UK driving licence (essential)
