Job Description

Based in Alton Hampshire, Paradigm designs and manufacturers rugged and robust satellite communication solutions, that are easy to handle and simple to use. Our products are used by military, government and large NGOs across the world, proving the value of Paradigm's simplified satcomms. This position would suit a recently graduated College/University student who has the fundamentals in Software engineering/design and who wishes to gain experience and work alongside skilled Software engineers. It is a diverse role, allowing the applicant to get involved in all elements of the Software development lifecycle whilst developing knowledge and personal skills.

Required:

Front end web development experience (HTML/CSS/JS) Good working knowledge of at least one front end web framework (e.g. Vue, React, Angular) Good .NET programming skills (C#) Working knowledge of REST APIs ASP.NET Web Application Development Experience Good communication skills. Ability to work as part of a team or standalone Solid organisational skills / timekeeping / working to deadlines / self-motivated
Desirable:

ArangoDB (AQL) Database / SQL knowledge Typescript Web API /TCP/IP /UDP/Serial programming experience .NET 6/7/8 Linux operating systems / shell scripting Basic Understanding of TCP/IP/Networking Understanding of SNMP Protocol (Programming experience desirable) Web Server lifecycle knowledge
