Role Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Software Tester to kickstart their career with an award-winning, international software business and join our expanding Lincoln team.
Seeking recent graduates or applicants with Further Education in a STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) subject. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end testing process from initial requirements capture to user acceptance testing and quality assurance. A sound understanding of the PageTiger solution will be essential including its purpose and mechanics to ensure adequate test coverage at all levels.
This role requires a critical thinker with a user-centric approach who will assist with the creation and maintenance of test suits, including working with the developers to ensure correct test coverage across our platform. You'll also get the opportunity to have influence and control over software testing strategies going forward.
With a structured development plan, the successful candidate will demonstrate a willingness and eagerness for continued learning as well as personal growth.

Required skills, attributes & experience
STEM background and Further Education qualifications, A-levels or equivalent
Graduate in relevant Computing or Software degree desirable but not required
Willingness to learn the fundamentals, and pass ISTQB Foundation Tester Certification within the 6 months
Excited about understanding the process of software testing, methodologies and best practices
Enthusiasm for the industry and professional development
High level of attention to detail
Positive attitude and proactiveness to continual learning
Strong interpersonal, analytical and organisational skills
Extracurricular activities to enhance software skills (desirable)
