Our reimagined flagship restaurant is home to Executive Chef Shay Cooper's modern and innovative British cookery, with a focus on seasonal produce from around the country. A richly decorated dining room, naturally illuminated during the day by a domed glass roof while seductively aglow under softly lit chandeliers in the evening, The Lanesborough Grill offers a truly memorable dining experience.

Candidate Profile

As a

Junior Sommelier

you will provide an exceptional guest service experience. You will be an excellent communicator, genuinely care about guests and take a pro-active approach to constantly develop your wine and pairing knowledge. You will have a real passion for food and wine, enabling you to up sell and promote the items by your personal knowledge from the menu and wine list. You will be a team player, playing a key role in supporting the Sommeliers during service to create a memorable experience for our guests.

Key Requirements

The ideal candidate would be able to demonstrate the following attributes:

Experience in a similar role within a fine dining restaurant is essential Excellent command of the English language and a second language would be preferred Immaculate grooming standards WSET (level 3 or diploma) is preferred
Please note this role requires an element of manual handling and someheavy lifting.
