Duties
Assist the Head Chef in planning and preparing menus that meet quality standards and customer expectations
Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance monitoring
Oversee food production processes to ensure consistency, presentation, and adherence to recipes
Prepare high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards
Ensure all food safety regulations are strictly followed, maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment
Monitor stock levels, order supplies as needed, and manage inventory efficiently
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery
Support the team during busy periods, including serving customers when required
Maintain equipment and work areas to meet health and safety standards
Skills
Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen environment
Extensive food production and preparation skills with a strong focus on quality control
Demonstrated team management capabilities with leadership qualities that motivate staff
Solid background in food safety practices and compliance with health regulations
Excellent cooking skills across various cuisines and techniques
Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is highly desirable
