About the Role

We're looking for a

Junior Sous Chef with event experience

to work across both Eat Events and Eat The Street. You'll support senior chefs at larger events and must also be confident

running smaller event kitchens independently

.

This role is ideal for a chef ready to step up, take responsibility and gain experience across both refined event catering and high-energy street food service.

Duties

Supporting senior chefs during prep and live events Running event kitchens for smaller events when required Cooking and delivering high-quality food in live event environments Assisting with prep, stock control and logistics Maintaining food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards Helping lead and support kitchen teams during service

Experience

Experience as a Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef

Previous event catering experience essential

Confident working in and helping run event kitchens Organised, reliable and proactive Passion for great food, from refined plates to bold street food Good knowledge of all sections including hot, cold and pastry with a keen eye to develop skills across the board Flexible to work evenings and weekends Must be able to drive due to the location of the prep kitchen. Van driving experience is preferred

Pay: 30,000.00-34,000.00 per year
