Responsibilities



Assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficiency. Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance monitoring. Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards. Oversee food production processes to ensure consistency, presentation, and adherence to food safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen environment in compliance with health and safety standards. Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and minimise waste to optimise kitchen resources. Support the development of new menu items in collaboration with the culinary team. Ensure all food served meets quality standards and customer expectations. Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration and professional growth.

Requirements



Proven supervisory experience within a busy restaurant or hospitality setting. Extensive culinary experience with strong skills in food preparation, cooking, and presentation. Demonstrable knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent team management abilities with leadership qualities that motivate staff. Strong understanding of food production processes and restaurant operations. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is essential. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Passion for delivering exceptional customer service through outstanding cuisine. Pay: 33,000.00-50,000.00 per year
