We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Sous Chef/ Line Chef (UK nationals/ UK legal residents only) to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
Assist the Head Chef in overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation and presentation.
Supervise and manage kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to company standards.
Prepare high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and quality standards.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen.
Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock ordering, and minimise waste.
Support team development through training and mentoring junior staff members.
Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Maintain a positive working environment that promotes teamwork and professional growth.
Qualifications
Proven supervising experience within a busy kitchen or restaurant setting.
Extensive food production knowledge, including food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation skills.
Strong leadership abilities with excellent team management skills.
Solid understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
Previous experience working in hospitality or restaurant environments is highly desirable.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
