Job Description

We are looking to recruit a reliable and hard working Junior Sous Chef to join our team in our established Restaurant on Dartmouth Golf Course in West Bromwich.
Day to day operations:
Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in planning and preparing menus Oversee and learn food processes to ensure consistency, presentation and adhere to recipes Follow food safety protocols, hygiene standards, and health & safety regulations within the kitchen Monitor stock levels and order supplies as needed Ensure all dishes are prepared efficiently during service times to the correct standard Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen - as to checklist standards Assist in resolving any issues promptly to minimise disruptions
Qualifications:
Confident working in a fresh food kitchen - experience essential Able to work under pressure and at a fast pace Baclground in food preparation, cooking techniques and presentation skills Previous experience within restaurant setting Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations Organisational skills whilst prepping and also during busy service periods Reliable, hardworking and passionate This role is perfect for a dedicated professional looking to advance their career in a vibrant hospitality setting
