We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Junior Coach to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in sports coaching and teaching, with the ability to inspire and motivate young athletes. As a Junior Coach, you will assist in the development of skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship among participants, fostering a positive and engaging environment.
Duties
Assist in planning and delivering training sessions that cater to various skill levels
Provide guidance and support to participants during practices and competitions
Foster a positive team culture by encouraging teamwork and good sportsmanship
Monitor the progress of athletes, providing constructive feedback to enhance their skills
Help organise team events, including matches and tournaments
Maintain a safe training environment by adhering to health and safety regulations
Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and other coaching staff
Experience
Previous experience in sports coaching or teaching is preferred but not essential
A background in competitive sports is an advantage
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with young athletes
A commitment to personal development and continuous learning within the coaching field
