We are a leading automotive media solutions company with an exciting opportunity for a Junior Web Designer to join our growing team in Farnborough, Hampshire.

The business was founded in 1999 and employs a team of c24.

As leaders in our marketplace we focus on the automotive sector and have clients ranging from Franchised Dealer Groups to small, independent garages. Our services include designing, building and hosting automotive websites with a product range that also includes classified advertising, finance solutions, email marketing suites and live chat products.

The Web Designer role has 2 key responsibilities: -

Supporting and updating current websites, including front line call answering and speaking to our customers

Setting web sites live and other web associated activity

To apply for this role you will need to: -

- Be fully versed in hand coding valid HTML5, SCSS and CSS3

- Have tablet/mobile and responsive design knowledge, ideally Bootstrap 3 onwards

- Show Adobe Creative Suite experience (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD)

- Have proven Design and graphic skills

- Have an understanding of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)

- Be aware of cross-browser and cross-device compatibility issues

- Have Excellent written and verbal communications

If you also have the skills below then that would be great, but we can train you in these:-

- Management of customer domains, DNS and email hosting capabilities

- Experience of Microsoft Power Automate and Teams would be beneficial

- Git Version control (Sourcetree, GitHub Desktop)

- Other web design languages could be useful

Salary of 25,000 pa (depending on age and experience) plus Company Bonus.

Candidates need to be office based in Farnborough, at least in the initial training phase. After that the role offers a hybrid office/home arrangement with a min of 3 days per week in the office.
