K8 Systems Developer

Job Description

We are looking for a K8 Systems Developer to design, develop, implement, and support solutions exclusively for the enhancement of the EPOS application within our Trade business.



This role involves working with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Technical Architects to deliver effective solutions for depot colleagues. It is a full-time permanent role working 37.5 hours per week, occasional weekend work, and participation in a shared on-call support rota.


What you will be doing



Developing and implementing K8 Reports following best practices for user experience and performance. Developing and implementing DX transfers and DX transforms to support K8 and SAP end to end integration. Developing and implementing K8 Format Stationaries using Print Manager. Supporting end-users by troubleshooting system and integration issues, maintaining optimal performance. Helping to resolve Service incidents as they arise. Ensuring K8 Production applications are at best health and performance for trading. Maintaining K8 integration with Azure using XI module, building custom APIs for external application. Replicating system bugs and working closely with software supplier on fixes. Answering business queries about existing and new K8 capabilities. Collaboration and working with various technical and non-technical teams both onshore and offshore

What we need from you



Commercial K8 experience including: + Report Generator
+ DX transfers and DX transforms
+ Agent Scheduler
+ Format stationaries and Print Manager
+ Workplaces
+ Good understanding of Sales Order Processing module and sales processes.
+ Update Toolbox - proven experience in installing patches and completing after actions
Experienced in working on technical projects from inception through to delivery. Working closely with stakeholders to understand the business requirements first-hand. Time Management and the ability to react quickly to changing priorities Can break down explanations of complex processes, rules or situations into manageable pieces of information Good written and verbal communication skills Enjoys a mathematical and analytical approach to problem solving Works well in a team dynamic, ranging from paired programming to group development Eagerness to learn and expand skillset
