Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, staff, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed while providing excellent customer service.

Duties

Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, providing first aid and CPR when necessary. Utilize surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to monitor premises and report any incidents or irregularities. Conduct regular inspections of property and facilities to ensure compliance with security policies. Manage conflict situations effectively, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate tensions. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary, providing assistance during investigations or emergencies. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage within the facility. Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences.

Requirements

Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred. Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is highly desirable. Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention techniques is a plus. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Must possess a valid security license as required by state regulations. Pay: 12.21-16.15 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 60 per week
