Keg Line Manager Wanted - Hartlepool
Are you an experienced and proactive leader with a knack for precision in production? We're on the lookout for a Keg Line Manager to lead our operations right here in Hartlepool.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take charge of a vital part of our manufacturing process, overseeing a line that fills both 30 and 50-litre kegs at an impressive rate of approximately 300 kegs per hour.
What you'll be doing:
Leading and developing your team: You'll be responsible for managing, mentoring, and motivating your team of keg line operatives, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Optimizing line performance: You'll ensure the keg line operates at peak efficiency, consistently meeting production targets and maintaining the highest quality standards for every fill.
Troubleshooting and problem-solving: You'll quickly identify and resolve any operational issues, minimizing downtime and maximizing output.
Implementing best practices: You'll drive continuous improvement initiatives, looking for ways to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall line performance.
Ensuring compliance: You'll be responsible for adhering to all health and safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
Reporting and analysis: You'll monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports online performance and inventory.
What we're looking for:
Proven experience in a kegging or high-volume liquid filling environment, ideally in a supervisory or management role.
Strong understanding of kegging processes, equipment, and quality control.
Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to operational challenges.
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards, particularly in a food
or beverage production setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
