Job Description

Training4Dogs/Mastamariner are a long established, highly respected, dog training business and breeding establishment run by dedicated, ethical, dog lovers and which embody the highest standards of canine welfare and customer service.

We are seeking dedicated, hardworking, dog lovers to assist with the care of our family of friendly, affectionate dogs.

Applicants must be reliable and dependable in their attendance, meticulous in their approach to their work, compassionate, kind and consistent when caring for our dogs, confident, polite and welcoming when interacting with our valued customers.

Candidates will be fully trained and will work safely in accordance with our processes, procedures and protocols.

Working arrangements are 3 or 5 hour shifts, shift start at 09:30 but may vary by mutual agreement (we do not offer afternoon only/evening only shifts).

Shifts are available throughout the week and on Saturdays

Additional hours may sometimes be available by mutual agreement.

Please note that there is no public transport in the area and whilst a vehicle is not required for the performance of this role, a mode of independent transport is essential to travel to the location.

The Role

Cleaning outdoor areas to the highest standard Canine coat care (no trimming or styling) Bathing Dogs Exercising dogs (as required) Supervised care of neonates Care of puppies (bathing, weighing, feeding etc) Other ad hoc dog related tasks

Experience and Skills (essential)

MUST HAVE OWN INDEPENDENT TRANSPORT Physically fit Demonstrable experience caring for dogs Experienced and confident handling large breeds Practical experience handling and training varied breeds Competent walking multiple (up to 4) dogs in public places

Experience and Skills (required)

Experience in kennel work or similar Qualification in a canine/animal welfare subject (ideally Level 3 Animal Management or equivalent)

Additional Skills (preferred)

Certificate in canine first aid Competency in General Property Maintenance Excellent customer facing skills
