The Role:

We are looking for an experienced

Kennel Assistant Supervisor

to help lead the day-to-day operations of our kennels. You will be responsible for supervising kennel hygiene, supporting trainers, monitoring dog health and behaviour, and overseeing our kennel assistant team. This role is hands-on and vital to the welfare of our dogs and the smooth running of the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and maintain exceptional cleanliness and hygiene across all kennel areas Oversee kennel assistants, delegating tasks and ensuring standards are met Walk, exercise, and mentally stimulate dogs as part of their daily routine Conduct and record regular health checks, reporting concerns to the management or training team Assist and support dog trainers during sessions, handling dogs when required Keep accurate health and behaviour records Monitor kennel equipment and supplies, ensuring everything is clean, safe, and stored properly Take responsibility for ensuring the overall comfort, safety, and well-being of all dogs in care

What We're Looking For:

Essential

: Proven experience working with dogs in a kennel, rescue, training, or similar environment Confidence handling working breeds and dogs with high drive Physically fit and able to carry out the demands of the role Calm, confident, and assertive around dogs of all temperaments Strong attention to hygiene, structure, and routine Comfortable supervising a small team and leading by example Reliable, hard-working, and flexible in your approach Genuinely passionate about dog care and welfare

Pay: 13.00 per hour
