This is a key Administrative and Estimating role supporting the day-to-day operation of the business. You will be responsible for preparing accurate print estimates including detailed specifications, managing both print and non-print enquiries and orders, liaising with suppliers and clients, and ensuring smooth workflow from enquiry to delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing accurate and timely print estimates across a range of products (POS, Packaging, Loyalty and Gift Cards, Direct Mail etc.)
Procuring non print related products and ensuring they meet client's specifications and delivery deadlines
Reviewing client briefs and specifications to ensure clarity and feasibility
Liaising with printers and suppliers to obtain costs, lead times, and availability across all formats (Litho, Digital, Large Format Print)
Raising purchase orders and job tickets
Managing job administration from estimate through to completion
Updating internal systems with pricing, job details, and supplier information
Supporting account managers and production teams as required
Ensuring deadlines are met and any issues are flagged early
Person Specification
Team-focused, personable, organised and diligent
Out-of-the-box thinker, always looking for new ways to improve and add value
Excellent communicator, both written and verbal
Qualifications
Good standard of education to include GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above (or equivalent)
Relevant training/qualifications in administration and client support - desired
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in a print estimating, print administration, or print production role
Good understanding of print processes, materials, and finishing
Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to manage multiple jobs and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with MIS systems an advantage
Working with designers and the creative process - desired
