We are looking for a strategic and proactive Key Account Director to lead the delivery of complex, high-value facilities management contracts across multiple sites.


This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for portfolios worth up to 50 million, requiring a strong commercial mindset, operational excellence, and a people-first approach. As the Key Account Director, you will oversee the successful delivery of facilities services, ensuring client satisfaction, compliance, and commercial growth. You'll lead large, diverse teams and work closely with senior stakeholders to deliver innovative, value-driven solutions.


Key Responsibilities




Manage large, complex FM contracts across multiple sites, ensuring KPIs and SLAs are met. Build strategic partnerships, align service delivery with client goals, and support contract retention. Lead facilities services (e.g., cleaning, maintenance, security), ensuring legal and safety compliance. Own full P&L responsibility, drive efficiencies, and produce internal/external financial reports. Mentor operational managers, oversee workforce planning, and foster an inclusive workplace culture. Identify growth opportunities, support bids and renewals, and champion innovation.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications




Proven experience managing high-value contracts (up to 50m). Background in service industries; FM experience desirable but not essential. Strategic thinker with commercial acumen and adaptability in complex environments. Demonstrated success in leading large, diverse teams and developing talent. Experience in SLA/KPI monitoring, financial reporting, and client engagement. Robust understanding of Health & Safety (IOSH certification desirable).
