This is an exciting opportunity to work in a rapidly changing market segment with the Future Homes Standards coming in 2025. You will be leading the new build sector towards low carbon technologies and a net-zero future whilst capitalising on sales of our existing and extensive portfolio of products.

  • Responsible for key account management of National Housebuilders & Major Developers in the New Build Market.
  • Responsible for strategic development and maintenance of relationships to grow profitable business in the new build sector influencing the procurement process.
  • Deliver sustainable growth of target key accounts sales turnover across all product groups.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements within set levels to safeguard profitability of the business.
  • Close liaison with Internal/External specification team to ensure clarity and successful management of timescales
  • Continuously improve processes to create a holistic package to support functions to secure business
  • Develop relationships and a full understanding of Consortia, Consultants and Constructors who can influence specifications with your key accounts
  • Deliver regular communication with leadership on performance and strategic focus of the role
  • Facilitate the development of market knowledge & expertise within the New Build sales organisation and other technical, sales and marketing functions.
Qualifications
  • Experience within UK house building, planning sector or Social Housing is key to this role with strong relationships with developers and key stakeholders within this sector essential
  • Exceptional sales and account management skills with a demonstrable track record in dealing with and growing national account portfolios.
  • Awareness and understanding of UK energy and emissions policies
  • In depth understanding of building energy performance, associated legislation, standards and procedures (e.g. SAP, ErP)
  • Good understanding of product and system integration, installation and service practice of responsible group product groups.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills
  • Customer centric mindset with good analytical techniques
  • Advanced territory management, project management and prioritisation skills.
  • Ability to think strategically. Customer and market focused. Can relay research findings and data in a concise and meaningful manner to management, associates and third parties. Demonstrates advanced conflict management skills.

Working Hours: 39 hours a week; Mon - Thurs 08.00 - 17.00 and Fri 08.00 - 16.00 with a 1 hour unpaid lunchbreak Due to the nature of the role there is a requirement to work flexibly around the demands of the business - inclusive of national and international travel.
