to join our team. This customer-facing role focuses on managing and growing existing accounts, while also identifying and developing new business opportunities. The successful candidate will represent our company in external meetings, promote new products and services, and work closely with both customers and our valued supplier base.
This role involves regular travel for face-to-face meetings, as well as time spent in the office collaborating with the internal sales and operations teams. You'll be responsible for overseeing the full sales cycle--from initial contact through to aftersales support--while also leveraging support from an office-based team to handle incoming enquiries and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and develop relationships with existing key customers
Identify and approach potential new clients to grow the customer base
Promote new products and services in collaboration with suppliers
Conduct regular face-to-face meetings with clients and suppliers
Coordinate joint site visits with supplier representatives
Oversee the full sales process including quoting, negotiating, and closing deals
Use CRM and ERP systems to generate quotes, log visits, and manage customer data
Collaborate with the office team to ensure excellent customer service and support
Provide holiday cover in the office as needed
Support the Site Solutions Team with re-stocking managed stores and vending systems
Skills & Experience Required:
Proven experience in account management or external sales
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable with face-to-face client interaction
Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Knowledge of the MRO industry is highly desirable
Full UK driving license (or relevant local equivalent) required
