Key Account Manager

Durham, ENG, GB, United Kingdom

Job Description

The Opportunity

This role is about ownership, not account administration.

As a Corporate Account Manager at Workwear Express, you will take responsibility for a portfolio of high-value corporate customers. These are long-term partnerships, not transactional relationships. You will influence revenue, margin, service standards, and how we work with some of our largest customers.

You will not be micro-managed. You will be expected to think commercially, act with intent, and take responsibility for outcomes. If you value autonomy, accountability, and being judged on results rather than activity, this role will suit you.

You will work closely with design, production, warehouse, and customer service teams to ensure what we promise is exactly what we deliver. When that alignment works, it builds trust, retention, and growth.

This role sits at the centre of our customer promise.

About Workwear Express

Workwear Express is the UK's largest customised workwear retailer. We have been operating for over 36 years and are trusted by more than two million clients.

All production and fulfilment is handled from our 150,000 sq ft facility in Durham, the largest custom workwear production hub of its kind in Europe. Design, embroidery, print, packing, and dispatch are all managed in-house. This level of control is deliberate and is how we deliver consistency at scale.

We serve customers in over 100 countries, from local trades and SMEs to national contracts and global brands. Expectations are high. Reliability matters. Consistency matters.

We are part of Bunzl plc, a FTSE 100 business with revenues of more than 12 billion. That provides scale and stability. Day to day, however, we operate like a fast-paced e-commerce business. Decisions are made quickly. Standards are clear. Output matters.

This is a business that values pace, ownership, and people who take responsibility.
