Key Account Manager - UK Field-Based (Garage Equipment Industry)

Location: Field Based (UK-wide travel, occasional office visits)

Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday (8:30am-5:00pm)

Salary: Competitive + Company Car + Phone + Expenses + Pension + Performance Bonus

In this field-based role, you'll be managing key customer accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and representing a respected brand that values quality, service, and long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customers, ensuring satisfaction and retention

Identify and win new business within the automotive service industry

Deliver engaging product demonstrations and customer training sessions

Prepare tailored proposals and quotes that meet client needs

Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and meetings across the UK

Work closely with internal teams to deliver seamless service

Stay up to date with market trends, competitor activity, and new product launches

Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets

Requirements

Proven experience in sales or account management (automotive or garage equipment background ideal)

Strong knowledge of workshop operations and garage equipment

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

Self-motivated, organised, and confident using digital tools
