The Key Account Manager position sits within Kovia Compliance's Operations team, which delivers a wide range of statutory compliance services including asbestos, stock condition surveying, energy assessments (EPCs, Retrofit Assessments, etc.), radon, legionella, fire safety, and associated training.



We are seeking a proactive and organised Key Account Manager to work across our Asbestos and Radon divisions within Kovia Compliance. This role focuses on managing relationships with key contracted clients and ensuring their requirements are delivered accurately, efficiently, and in line with industry standards and statutory obligations.

You will oversee the administration and coordination of asbestos and radon compliance projects, working closely with internal teams to ensure smooth operational delivery. Day-to-day collaboration will include liaison with the Asbestos and Radon Principal Consultants, who provides technical, commercial, and resourcing support, and the Customer Contact Manager, who oversees appointment scheduling across all service areas.

The role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritise effectively at short notice. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will act as both the primary contact for key clients and the first point of contact for site teams delivering the works. Regular external engagement with clients, including progress meetings and performance reviews, will form a key part of the role.

Key Responsibilities



Act as the primary point of contact for key contracted clients within the Asbestos and Radon Compliance service areas. Manage the delivery of client requirements, ensuring projects are administered accurately, efficiently, and in line with agreed timescales. Liaise daily with internal teams, including the Principal Consultants and the Customer Contact Manager, to coordinate resources and maintain smooth project delivery. Support the site team by providing clear instructions, documentation, and updates as required. Lead and attend regular client meetings to review progress, performance, and forward planning. Proactively identify and resolve issues, demonstrating sound judgement and the ability to prioritise tasks at short notice. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure service quality, compliance, and client satisfaction are consistently maintained. Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes and client communication.

Person Specification



Essential:

Proven experience in a client-facing, operational, or account management role (preferably within compliance, construction, property, or related sectors). Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with high attention to detail. Ability to problem-solve and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships at all levels. Proficient in Microsoft Office and confident using digital systems to manage workflows and reporting. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel for client and site meetings as required.
Desirable

Experience in asbestos surveying or radon compliance. Understanding of statutory compliance frameworks and inspection/reporting requirements. Commercial awareness with an interest in business development and client retention.

Pay: 28,000.00-32,000.00 per year
