As a
Key Account Manager
for
Reuters Breakingviews
, you'll be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of B2B accounts, driving new business opportunities, and maximizing the satisfaction and retention of both individual and enterprise clients. This is a consultative role, and would suit a seller that particularly enjoys understanding their clients' needs, who wants to deliver the most appropriate solutions to a varied base of clients whilst expanding Reuters Breakingviews' subscriber base. This is a quota-carrying role with a strong focus on relationship management, strategic account growth and achieving revenue targets.

Manage and grow a portfolio of B2B subscription accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Identify and evaluate new market opportunities to expand the Reuters Breakingviews subscriber base.
Develop and execute strategic account plans and sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to key decision-makers within client organizations.
Collaborate with internal teams across Breakingviews and Reuters Professional to deliver seamless customer experiences.
Accurately forecast revenue and provide regular pipeline and performance reporting.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and client needs to identify new sales and upsell opportunities.
Negotiate and close contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
Present complex information effectively, adapting communication style to suit various audiences.
Contribute to the development of new principles, concepts, and strategies for the business unit.
About You

if you have:
Demonstrable experience of selling B2B subscriptions or publishing products, ideally within media, publishing, or financial/insurance sectors.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and revenue targets.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
The ability to work independently and as part of high-performing, cross-functional teams.
A consultative sales approach, with the ability to understand and anticipate client needs.
A rigorous and analytical approach to the market, including prospective opportunities and renewals.
Experience building and executing account strategies for enterprise clients.
Adept at managing complex sales cycles and building relationships with senior stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
