Key Account / Sales Manager - FMCG Packaging (Food Sector)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced

Key Account / Sales Manager

to drive business growth within the

FMCG food packaging sector

. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of managing key customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering tailored packaging solutions to meet client needs. Proficiency in

one or more Asian languages

(such as

Urdu or Mandarin

) is highly desirable, enabling effective communication with suppliers and clients across diverse markets.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and develop

key customer accounts

, ensuring exceptional service and long-term partnerships. Identify and pursue

new business opportunities

within the FMCG food packaging industry. Collaborate closely with the supply chain, production, and design teams to deliver innovative, cost-effective packaging solutions. Negotiate

contracts, pricing, and service agreements

to achieve sales and margin targets. Conduct

market research and competitor analysis

to support strategic sales planning. Monitor sales performance, forecasts, and customer satisfaction metrics. Represent the company at

industry events, exhibitions, and trade shows

to promote products and build brand awareness. Maintain accurate records of all sales activity using CRM and ERP systems.

Experience & Requirements

Proven experience in

sales or account management

, ideally within

FMCG packaging for the food sector

. Strong commercial acumen and ability to develop

strategic customer relationships

. Excellent

negotiation, communication, and presentation skills

. Bilingual proficiency in

English and at least one Asian language

(e.g.,

Urdu, Mandarin, Hindi, or Cantonese

) preferred. Familiarity with

packaging materials

such as films, cartons, wraps, and containers. Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple customer accounts effectively. Results-driven, proactive, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
