To be the first point of contact for customers and to provide a professional, customer-driven service. This role is essential in ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering timely, accurate, and helpful support across various communication channels.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Customer Service
Serve as the primary contact for key business accounts.
Communicate with customers via telephone, email, and web chat to provide information and resolve queries.
Maintain and update the CRM system with accurate customer interaction records.
Resolve customer and supplier issues directly or by coordinating with the appropriate internal contacts.
Source prices, discounts, and delivery details from approved suppliers or identify new stockists when necessary.
Liaise with suppliers to ensure optimal outcomes for customers.
Export/Import Responsibilities
Understand and apply relevant rules and regulations for export consignments to ensure compliance and smooth operations.
Team Working
Collaborate with team members to deliver outstanding customer service.
Communicate effectively and professionally with colleagues across departments.
Provide support to other teams as needed to meet business goals.
Sales Support
Obtain and confirm pricing, discounts, and delivery timelines from suppliers.
Prepare proforma invoices for non-account customers.
Process credit card transactions and issue receipts accurately and securely.
Communication
Maintain professional, positive, and friendly communication with all stakeholders, including staff, customers, and suppliers.
Regularly liaise with Team Leaders and Managers to ensure service targets are met.
Other Duties
Attend training sessions as required to stay updated on products, systems, and procedures.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support business operations.
Adhere to the Company Code of Conduct and uphold Company Values.
Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications & Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong customer service orientation with a proactive problem-solving approach.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of export/import regulations is desirable.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
